Alec and Hilaria Baldwin recreated a steamy scene from Dirty Dancing in a video they shared on Instagram on Aug. 22

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are in their dancing era!
Hilaria, 41, has spent this month documenting her actor husband’s efforts to teach her some impressive dance moves on her Instagram. The pair worked on the cha-cha in their kitchen and did a sassy routine to the Shakira hit “Hips Don’t Lie” in their living room.
On Friday, Aug. 22, Hilaria shared a clip of herself and Alec, 67, recreating a steamy dance scene from Dirty Dancing. Mimicking the movie’s romantic leads, Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, the couple caressed each other as the first notes of “(I’ve Had) the Time of My Life” began to play.
Then, Alec spun Hilaria into a twirl, before the pair began to dance in unison while holding hands on a porch. The clip ended with Hilaria laughing before walking off.
“Teacher is working on my dirty dancing today…last part needs some work 🤣,” Hilaria joked in the post’s caption, adding the hashtags #funny and #dirtydancing.
Fans reacted to the sultry dance in the comments — and some let the couple know that they felt their performance was missing one essential thing.
“Do the lift!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌,” someone wrote, referring to the iconic end scene in Dirty Dancing when Swayze’s Johnny Castle lifts Grey’s Frances “Baby” Houseman in the air during their final dance number.
“YOU CAN DO IT!! Practice makes perfect!! Do it!!” another person chimed in.
One day later, on Saturday, Aug. 23, Alec and Hilaria’s daughter Carmen joined her parents for their latest dance-off.
The couple shared a video on Instagram of the trio jumping around and dancing to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” to celebrate Carmen’s 12th birthday. Alec could be seen spinning his wife with one hand and his daughter with the other, before Hilaria and Carmen broke off to share a sweet hug.
Hilaria wrote in the caption: “We wanna dance with you, Carmen! On your birthday and every day 🩵✨.”
In yet another video shared on Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 24, Hilaria and Alec took on a 1950s classic: the bunny hop. After doing a few moves with his wife, Alec hopped his way off camera while snapping his fingers to the music.

“Maybe one day I’ll be good enough to master Alec’s bunny hop 🐰,” Hilaria wrote.
Last month, Alec and Hilaria recreated another memorable movie scene, this time to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary. In a joint Instagram reel, they could be seen acting out the emotional moment in As Good As It Gets when Jack Nicholson’s character, Melvin, expresses his feelings to Helen Hunt’s Carol, telling her, “You make me want to be a better man.”
In the Baldwins’ version, Alec mimicked the delivery of the line in a deep, Nicholson-style voice while standing in the corner of a pool, as Hilaria lay on a towel on the pool deck near him. “You make me want to be a better woman,” Hilaria told Alec in turn, prompting him to reply, “Okay, if you say so.”
The pair then wished each other a happy anniversary before sharing a kiss.
