The weather has been hot and muggy in New York City this past week, which means we’ve been searching our closets for fresh, flowy looks that still feel elevated enough for the workplace. Adria Arjona got the memo.
The actor has been doing press for Andor in Manhattan this week, and showing off some great looks while doing so. After wearing an oversize tan suit on Late Night With Seth Meyers, a nod to Julia Roberts’s iconic Golden Globes 1990 look, she opted for two breathable dresses while on the streets of the city.
One of the dresses was a fun, striped maxi in black and gold, with a sharp side cutout that flowed into an open back. The asymmetric waist featured layered detailing and a belt that hung loose. Little silver buttons traveled down the front of the skirt, adding some extra texture.
Arjona finished the look with pointy black pumps from Louboutin, which she rewore with a different flowy dress later in the day.
The second dress was black, with a plunging halter neckline and a drop waist that was twisted into a braid. And the back, it featured a unique draping, like a Greek robe.
Both dresses seemed like the perfect polished, comfortable outfit solutions for a humid spring day, and also very much in line with Arjona’s easy-going style.
Last year, the Hit Man star spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about carving out her own identity. She said, “I’m constantly reinventing myself, and I’ll forever do it until the day I die, and the same thing goes for everybody. I think society has made us believe that we’re just one thing. We’re all multifaceted beings, and we’re so capable of being more than just one thing.”
