It wouldn’t be an Adam Sandler movie if he didn’t bring his friends along for the ride.

Steve Buscemi pops up the most, having appeared in 16 Sandler movies prior to Happy Gilmore 2, playing a smart part in the latest Netflix film as well.

Rob Schneider, Kevin Nealon, and Jon Lovitz are among his friends from Saturday Night Live who also pop up in quite a few of his movies. And guess what! They’re in Happy Gilmore 2.

But the consistent casting choice that fans are gushing over is his wife, Jackie Sandler, who plays the ballet teacher for Happy Gilmore’s daughter, played by his real-life daughter, Sunny Sandler.

In fact, Jackie has appeared in over 20 Sandler movies now, playing small parts in most—roles that you wouldn’t even notice if you didn’t know who she was. She’s appeared as a TGIF waitress, casting director, and dentist. In Ridiculous 6, her role was credited as “Never Wears Bra.”

The couple got married in 2003 after meeting while filming Big Daddy, which came out in 1999. They have two daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16, who both appear in many of his projects, including Happy Gilmore 2.

Wherever Sandler goes, his family goes, too, and that has earned him a lot of respect from fans who can’t stop talking about how great he is.

“His family and friends are in all of his movies. I love that,” one fan wrote about the comedy icon.

“He takes all his people with him to whatever movies he is making and I have always respected that about him he@is a very loyal person,” another wrote.

Someone else added, “I respect him for looking after his friends and family,” as another noted, “He uses the same 4-5 guys every movie just about too. He believes in keeping his ppl paid. I’ll always respect him for that bc not all entertainers do that. They could learn a lot from that guy.”

It’s something that Sandler fans have called out frequently, with one taking to X in January to say, “Adam Sandler putting his wife in all his movies is my favorite.”

In response, someone else joked, “I never knew he was married to @RobSchneider I just thought they were really good friends.”

Another came in with a joke about Steve Buscemi.

“You just know he’s one of those guys who actually enjoys being around his wife,” another wrote.
