Even Aaron Rodgers’ friends were surprised when the NFL star was spotted wearing a ring on that finger at a recent gala.
Rodgers, 41, sparked rumors that he had tied the knot when he attended the 2025 Barnstable Brown Gala wearing what looked like a wedding band on his left ring finger.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on May 6, the NFL star’s close friend AJ Hawk, who was with him at the gala on May 2, said even he was confused by Rodgers’ ring.
“No update from this situation,” said Hawk, who played with Rodgers for the Green Bay Packers. “No, surprisingly enough, I did not press him on this,” Hawk added.

McAfee asked if Rodgers meant for the gala, which was also attended by former Packers Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham and others, to also serve as a “wedding party” for Rodgers.

“It was not a wedding party from what we knew,” Hawk told McAfee. “To tell you the truth, I don’t know if I have any answers on that situation. He’s very private and mysterious when it comes to things like that and this is definitely one of those, for sure.”
Despite his uncertainty around Rodgers’ marital status, Hawk said his friend “seems very happy” and “looks good physically” and “mentally” these days. “But not a lot of clarity on this situation, I’m not going to lie,” Hawk concluded.

In December 2024, Rodgers revealed he’s in a new relationship with a woman named Brittani during an interview on McAfee’s show. He shared that Brittani prefers to remain out of the spotlight and she doesn’t have any social media accounts.

In another appearance on McAfee’s show in April, Rodgers, who remains without an NFL team since being released by the Jets in February, revealed he’s dealing with issues in his personal life that are keeping him away from football.
“I’m in a different phase of my life,” Rodgers explained. “I’m 41 years old, I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments I made not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year, that are important to me.”
