One thing that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna can’t get enough of? Bags fresh off the runway.
Yesterday afternoon, Rocky was spotted out and about in New York City, where he’s been promoting his new Spike Lee film, Highest 2 Lowest. As he headed to Good Morning America, the rapper showed that he’s always got his finger on the fashion pulse, wearing pieces pulled straight from Michael Rider’s debut collection for Celine, which was unveiled just this past July.
For the talk show visit, Rocky chose a khaki, double-breasted cropped trench and a blue-and-silver pinstripe tie, which both stemmed from the Celine Spring 2026 collection.
The rest of the outfit was courtesy of the French fashion house as well, including Rocky’s Kurt Jeans in cotton denim, some black John Monk loafers with buckles across the vamp, and a skinny belt in vintage calfskin. (Rocky did manage to slip on some Ray-Ban sunglasses in honor of his new collaboration with the brand and his role as its first-ever creative director.)
It was Rocky’s bag that was the real scene-stealer though, as he carried the new Luggage Smile bag, a variation on the popular Trapeze and Phantom silhouettes of the 2010s. And it’s clear a love of bags must run in the family, because Rihanna was spotted with her own brand-new Dior tote mere days after Jonathan Anderson made his debut at that famed fashion house and unveiled that exact handbag. (Sometimes it really does pay to be famous.)
Later in the evening, Rocky stepped out in Celine Spring 2026 again, as he walked the red carpet for the Big Apple premiere of Highest 2 Lowest. There, he kept things classic in a black suit, which featured a bit of pizzazz thanks to a red-and-blue striped tie. Suffice it to say, Rocky and Rider are a fashion match made in heaven.
