A$AP Rocky Says His Kids Get Their Style From Rihanna

A$AP Rocky is one of the Met Gala co-chairs this year, and he knows he can rock some amazing fits, but when it comes to kids RZA and Riot’s blooming sense of style, he gives a lot of credit to Rihanna’s ability to slay.

Speaking in an interview about the 2025 Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and Black men throughout history with fantastic style, the rapper made sure to mention his young sons’ early interest in fashion. “It’s in them already,” he said, “Look who they moms is. She dress her ass off.”

Of course, Rocky is just as stylish; when it comes to his fashion-filled date nights with the “Diamonds” singer, no couple is cooler. “Isn’t he the best? I be feeling bummy as s—t next to this man. I feel like, goddamn, I look like his assistant,” Rihanna joked about Rocky in a 2024 chat with Interview. “I’m getting on a plane. We should be in sweats. He wants to be in a full Bottega suit. I’m like, ‘Why you got to do that to me?’”

Naturally, dressing for the couple has become friendly competition; and now, their sons are in on the fun.

In her February cover story for Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna spoke about how she and Rocky keep life exciting, and how the rapper has helped her grow back into her stylish self after welcoming their children.

“I feel like getting dressed is a fight on its own [now],” she said. “Everything is so … logical. What makes sense? What’s easy? What’s fast? I try not to overthink all that stuff, but you’re leaving the house. It kind of stops you from going out. How much energy do I have to put into getting ready? Doing my makeup, doing my hair, and then going to the closet and figuring out which three things in this entire room make sense together? You go through a fog. And fashion is so much fun, and I miss the fun.”

One thing is for certain: RZA and Riot have some great fashion forces to look up to.
