This is one commute you’d never forget!
Jodie Foster was spotted riding the subway in New York City on Sunday, May 11.
The award-winning actress, 62, looked incredibly casual in a pair of white joggers, a white and navy blue striped blouse, and sneakers, per photos obtained by Daily Mail. Foster looked so comfortable, in fact, that most New Yorkers probably wouldn’t do a double take.
That said, because she is one of the most famous talents in Hollywood, it was only a matter of time before someone pointed her out. Plus, Foster almost took a tumble getting onto the subway car.

Foster has been in the spotlight since she was a child. However, her first big role was at 13 years old, when she played Iris in the 1976 film Taxi Driver.
Although she didn’t win, Foster snagged her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress that year. In 1988, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for The Accused and in 1991 she won the same award for The Silence of the Lambs.
Some of Foster’s other notable films include Contact, Panic Room, Nell, Fightplan, Inside Man, and The Mauritanian.
In addition to appearing on screen, Foster has also worked as a director and producer. She made her directorial debut in 1991 with the film Little Man Tate, and in 2011, she directed a movie called The Beaver. You may also recognize her work in episodes of Orange Is the New Black, Black Mirror, and season 4 of True Detective.

As for Foster’s personal life, the Cecil B. DeMille Award winner married photographer and actress Alexandra Hedison in April 2014. Foster has two sons, Charlie and Kit, whom she shares with her former partner, film producer Cydney Bernard.
