Did you grow up in the ’90s? You might have a stash of valuable relics hiding around your home. From toys to decade-specific fashion, there are certain items from the 1990s that could be worth significantly more than what they cost 25 years ago (and not just because of inflation). In the name of nostalgia, people are willing to pay alarming amounts for these vintage items from the ’90s.

1. Furby

Everyone loved these fluffy little guys in the ’90s, and just about every kid had one. The toy made a comeback recently, with new Furbies costing about $50 a piece, so they’re no longer accessible to everyone. Vintage Furbs can sell for thousands on eBay depending on how rare they are.

2. Lisa Frank School Supplies

The bright colors. The cute animals. The cheetah print. Ugh. Lisa Frank had us in a chokehold during the 1990s. The nostalgia is so strong for the brand that some unused vintage school supplies can go for hundreds on eBay, although Lisa Frank’s recent comeback might shake things up a bit.

3. Nike Air Jordans

Nike has held a consistent consumer following since its inception, and true sneakerheads adore vintage Air Jordans, with shoes from the ’90s selling for as much as $1,000 on eBay.

4. Levi’s Silvertab Jeans

Several denim styles were popular in the 1990s, and for some reason, massive baggy jeans were one of the biggest fads. Levi’s Silvertabs were some of the coolest around.

5. JNCO Jeans

We can’t talk about baggy jeans from the ’90s without mentioning the king of them all: JNCO jeans. Paired with a chain wallet and a grunge band t-shirt, these bad boys were top-tier — and can now sell for hundreds of dollars.

6. Chanel Bags

Chanel bags still cost a pretty penny, but the vintage ones will set you back thousands. 1990s maxi bags with cross-body chains are particularly sought-after.

7. Nintendo Pokémon Game Boy Color

When the Gameboy Color came out in the 1990s, gamers everywhere bought one … and then the Pokémon version came out, and they begrudgingly bought another. The Pikachu-adorned handheld gaming systems now sell for thousands on eBay.

8. Beanie Babies

When Beanie Babies burst onto the scene in the 1990s, everyone snatched them up as a nest egg, thinking one day the collectibles would be super valuable. While that’s generally proven to be untrue, rarer Beanie Babies and those with errors on their tags can sell for thousands on eBay.

9. Super Soaker 50

1990 brought us the first Super Soaker squirt gun, and summer has been better ever since. While there’s no shortage of modern water guns in today’s toy aisles, folks are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for the O.G.

10. First-Edition Goosebumps Books

A collection of fifteen Goosebumps books by R.L. Stine arranged in a grid. The colorful covers feature spooky illustrations, including monsters, creepy landscapes, and mysterious figures, creating an eerie and adventurous vibe.

R.L. Stine blessed the ’90s with the Goosebumps series. While these books are still popular and widely available, those first-edition copies from the 1990s are worth hundreds in good condition.

11. Sony Walkman

Ahh, Walkman. Everyone had one in the ’90s. Now you can expect to shell out a pretty penny on eBay for vintage players in good condition.

12. Magic the Gathering Cards

A collection of thirteen Magic: The Gathering cards arranged in a grid. The cards feature various colorful illustrations, creatures, and designs, each displaying different artwork and text attributes typical of the card game.

Released in 1993, this trading card game is still around. But vintage cards are where the money is at, and many of them sell for hundreds on eBay.

13. LEGO System Royal Knight’s Castle

A detailed LEGO medieval castle with blue and gray towers sits on a wooden table. Several knight minifigures, some on horses and carrying flags, are positioned around the castle. Shelves, a chair, and framed pictures are visible in the background.

There are some seriously expensive LEGO sets for sale these days, but the building toys were much more affordable during the ’90s. If you’d have told us then that the Royal Knight’s Castle set would sell for almost $900 come 2025, our jaws would’ve hit the floor.

14. Little Tikes Blue Roof Dollhouse & Family

It’s unfathomable outside of the 1990s that vintage Little Tikes or Fisher-Price toys sell for as much as they do. But here we are, faced with a plastic dollhouse meant for a preschooler, selling for hundreds on eBay.

15. Original CDs

CDs are growing more and more obsolete these days, but rare, first-edition (bonus points if they’re unopened) CDs from the 1990s can sell for thousands on eBay to the right buyer.
