Who doesn’t love a fashion hat trick—or rather, a fashion shoe trick? While making a few stops across New York City on Wednesday afternoon, Cynthia Erivo stepped out in three designer looks, all of which featured towering platform shoes—no issue for a woman who can defy gravity, of course.
First, the Wicked star was seen wearing a sparkly blue fit from the Tory Burch Fall 2025 collection. The cool-toned ensemble consisted of a sequined, striped vest layered over a pinstripe, oversize button-up, which she paired with denim slacks that had zippers cutting up the bottom hems.
For a luxurious touch, she carried a cream Hermès Kelly bag, and she completed the look with chocolate-brown platform heels, which winked to her skinny suede belt, also in brown.
Later, Erivo stepped out in a more neutral-toned ensemble courtesy of Maison Margiela. At the center was a hybrid top with a purple checked button-up stitched underneath a transparent gray top layer. Keeping the color scheme muted, the Oscar nominee paired the shirt with a frilly midi skirt in a subtle seafoam green.
Then, she rounded things out with some statement heels: brown, hoof-like platforms.—A signature of the Margiela brand, these featured thin straps which wound around the actor’s ankles. A clutch added a touch of texture to the fit thanks to its croc-embossed leather in a brown and black ombré.
For Erivo’s final look of the day, the Birkin made its triumphant return, and the Harriet star matched the eggshell statement piece by sporting an off-white peplum top in a bouclé fabric from Khaite. Finally, she added a striped transparent maxi skirt in white, and yet another pair of towering boots, which appeared to be the Louboutin Loo Booty in tan.
Nobody in all of the Big Apple is ever gonna bring her down from those sky-high shoes.
