(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop reviews some shell bill action happening at the Illinois Statehouse in the final days with an empty budget bill passed to the House by the Senate and a measure about food safety being gutted and replaced in the House to advance “medical aid in dying” legislation.
Bishop also reviews another gun control measure advancing at the statehouse that would allow for a state agency to report to Illinois State Police someone they feel is a clear and present danger, and sets up what proponents say is due process for Firearm Owners ID card denials and revocations.
