Demi Lovato is a married woman!
The singer and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes tied the knot this weekend at a ceremony in California after three years together.
Although Lovato has not shared any details about the ceremony on social media, she mused about her pearl white Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in an interview with Vogue. Sharing that she’s been a fan of the English fashion designer for years, she revealed that the process began after she found a gown online that she was drawn to.
“When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” Lovato shared. “We were not only able to work off that [initial] inspiration, but we added touches that really make this dress so special to me.”
Over the course of five fittings in Los Angeles, she and the Vivienne Westwood couture team worked together to bring the look to life. Making modifications to an existing item, the result was a custom gown with an off-the-shoulder detail and a corset bodice with an A-line skirt that fell into a train behind her.
Alongside her stylist Jill Jacobs, the Grammy Award-winning artist completed the look with a single-tier, custom-length cathedral-style veil made from ivory tulle.
Her glam for her big day consisted of her long, dark hair kept down in waves. She also ensured her dark brows were sculpted and added large, fluttery eyelashes for impact.
