When it comes to casual-cool dressing, Keke Palmer never misses.
While most celebrities were leaning into summer whites this Memorial Day weekend, the One of Them Days star gave us something punchier. Wearing an effortlessly cool outfit made for a day of roller coasters, she spent the holiday at Disneyland with a group of friends.
Embracing the ease of the bra-as-top trend, Palmer shared a video on Instagram of herself wearing a yellow striped button-down left open to reveal a black sports bra. She paired the look with breezy midi denim shorts from Loewe, layered over white boxers peeking just above the waistband.
For a bit of edge, she accessorized with a black headband from Urban Outfitters adorned with silver grommets. Palmer also added silver hoops, stacked rings, and a mix of bracelets.
Of course, no trip to the happiest place on earth would be complete without the right footwear. She wore a pair of low-rise ivory leather sneakers from Disney’s collaboration with Gucci that had a Mickey Mouse painting displayed on the side.
Alongside the IG reel of herself dancing in the park with a friend, she wrote in her caption, “Cause life is what? GOOD! Haha. Have a good holiday weekend everyone <3”
Palmer’s style has always been in the details, and her outfits often come with a wink. Case in point: her red carpet look earlier this year at the 7th annual American Black Film Festival in Los Angeles.
She wore a white Balmain dress that looked like an oversized business shirt reimagined as eveningwear, with a pressed collar laid flat across her chest and a floor-length hemline. At the center was a striking mixed-metal bumblebee brooch.
