According to TMZ, the reality star, who appeared on Season 5 of the hit show, died Monday, May 19 in the morning at his home in Greencastle, Indiana, surrounded by family. According to a source close to the family, Rathbun had been battling stage 4 stomach cancer since being diagnosed late last year.
At 52, he was a father of four when he met 22-year-old Mahogany Roca online. Their relationship sparked skepticism, with many believing that Mahogany, who was from South America, might have been catfishing Ben. However, when the couple finally met in person, it was clear that their connection was real. Despite their age gap, Ben and Mahogany appeared to have tied the knot after filming wrapped.
