As Robert Irwin‘s fans eagerly await his debut on Dancing With the Stars, some are wondering if the 21-year-old animal conservationist’s stint on reality TV could extend to another popular series…The Bachelor.

During a recent interview shared on TikTok by Entertainment Tonight, Robert weighed in on the possibility of him starring as the next Bachelor — with a little help from mom Terri and big sister Bindi.

“You’re gonna do Dancing With the Stars, don’t you think he should be The Bachelor next?” the interviewer asked.

“Oh! That question is to you guys, how would you feel about that?” Robert replied, gesturing to his mother and sister.

“That question is for mum,” Bindi quipped.

“Do tell!” Robert said, turning to Terri.

Terri’s answer was diplomatic — not to mention accurate.

“I think he would break a few hearts,” she said, smiling.

Irwin’s fans all had the same reaction to the idea — and they were definitely not enthusiastic.

“No Bachelor, he’s too innocent for that,” one person declared.

“Please don’t. The Bachelor would ruin his ‘good guy’ image that we all fell in love with. Don’t do the bachelor it would not go well with the public,” a second TikTok user pointed out.

“Nooo bachelor for our boy! He’s too good of a soul!!! I don’t care that he’s grown now,” another commenter begged, with someone else agreeing, “Oh god please no bachelor! Such a horrible show and he can get anyone without the fake story.”

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Robert didn’t completely rule out the possibility, however.

“The Bachelor, you reckon? Hey, I mean, never say never. I’m looking for the perfect person, so stranger things have happened,” he said.
