Prince William is gearing up to become King sometime in the future, and apparently there are already plans in place for his coronation. But one person who won’t be making the invite list? His brother, Prince Harry.
Despite King Charles inviting Harry to his coronation even though they were mid-feud, Prince William doesn’t plan to extend an olive branch. Especially not after Harry’s recent BBC interview.
“I think it’s done…I don’t think there’s [any] coming back from that,” a source who seemingly has a line to Wills tells Page Six. “Before the interview, we thought, ‘Come on William, extend a hand to your brother.’ But now it seems that Harry hasn’t learned s–t.”
Royal author/expert Hugo Vickers adds that “theoretically” William should invite Harry to his coronation, “But quite frankly he can do what he likes. It is not set in stone. The Duke of Windsor was not invited to [his niece Queen Elizabeth’s] coronation in 1953. There was a lot of discussion about it.”
Meanwhile, the source says Prince William “won’t” strip Meghan and Harry of their titles (there’s been a lot of chatter about him doing just that), which Hugo agrees with, explaining “We know that William is unforgiving anyway. But…he won’t strip Harry and Meghan of their titles, it appears vindictive.”
Amid all of this, Harry seems to still want to mend fences, and told the BBC “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”
