Kayla Nicole may have parted ways with Travis Kelce, but she’s just shared an update on the two dogs they once had together.
On the Friday, May 9 episode of The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole podcast, the 33-year-old revealed that she walked away from the relationship with full custody of their furry companions.
“I have dogs with the previous partner, and I got both the dogs,” Nicole, 33, shared, adding that she had recently been hit with a hefty $2,000 vet bill for them. While she didn’t mention Kelce, 35, by name in the podcast, fans assumed the comment was about him.
The conversation took place during a chat with guest Nazanin Mandi, who had her own story of navigating a split. Mandi, who separated from singer Miguel in 2022, explained how she and her ex share custody of their two cats. Nicole applauded Mandi’s ability to make adult decisions, noting that it reflects a healthy relationship dynamic, even post-breakup.
“That means you guys are in a good, healthy, safe space for you to be able to make adult decisions,” Nicole stated to her guest.
When the topic shifted to discussing exes and relationships, both women agreed on one thing: they have no desire to publicly air their personal grievances. Nicole expressed her stance, saying, “There’s no desire in my heart to ever portray anyone that I’ve ever had love with in a negative light.”
