“You Look Like You Love Me” singer Ella Langley looked like an entirely different person before getting bangs, and she is here to confirm that the bang-less version of herself will never make a return.
For those who are unfamiliar, Langley is country superstar with a sensational future ahead, rapidly rising to success at the end of last year due to her oh-so popular duet with Riley Green: “You Look Like You Love Me.” Her newest single, “Weren’t For The Wind” — stemming from the deluxe version of her sophomore album, hungover — is making waves as we speak.
Now, with a schedule jam-packed with sold-out shows — on the heels of her five ACM Awards wins — it doesn’t seem like Langley isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
With music aside, in a recent interview with 100.7 The Tiger — a radio station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — the 26-year-old was asked whether or not the bangs are here to stay. She swiftly replied, ” I do not think I can get rid of the bangs. I don’t think I would now. It really does fit my face… Plus, who needs Botox when you have bangs?”
“It’s funny now when I see myself without them,” she added, immediately shuddering at the thought of herself without her now-signature hairdo.
Naturally, fans took to the comment section of the video to hype up Langley, taking both her beauty and her sense of humor into consideration. “She is hilarious,” one TikTok user wrote, while another added, “Not many people can pull of bangs, but Miss Ella Langley can.”
After making these comments to 100.7 The Tiger, fans could not help but take a deep dive into Langley’s hairstyle history, eager to uncover an old photo or video of the “Weren’t For The Wind” singer before getting bangs. Needless to say, the fans were successful.
Back in 2023, Langley gave a tattoo tour while wearing a Harley-Davidson tee shirt, sharing said tour via TikTok. While the talented singer/songwriter looked as stunning as can be in the video, just one thing was missing from her grungy yet gorgeous look: bangs.
