Ever since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s relationship was confirmed, fans have been itching to see the “Karma” songstress appear on New Heights, the podcast the tight end co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce.
While the football legends aren’t shy about mentioning the Eras Tour superstar on their fan-favorite show, it’s not often they comment on the possibility of having the singer join them for an episode.
However, on the red carpet during Amazon’s Upfront on Monday, May 12, Entertainment Tonight saw the chance and took it when interviewer Rachel Smith dug for information about a potential appearance.
First she noted some of the “really big guests” they’ve landed of late, likeAdam Sandler, before asking who else is on the Eagles alum’s “vision board.”
“Anybody we get a chance to talk to, I’m super excited about,” he replied. “It’s a unique world where Trav and I get to talk to childhood heroes and people that we looked up to in the entertainment world, or in the sports world; some of the guys and women that are at the top of their game currently.”
He did call specifically on Neil deGrasse Tyson and Wayne Gretzky as a couple of dream guests, but when Smith brought up mom Donna Kelce’s recent appearance, he admitted, “It’s hard to beat the family.”
“I think that’s one of the things that people really like about the show, is the family aspect of it; the brotherhood,” he added. “I think a lot of that people can relate to, so. But, yeah, always exciting to get Mom on.”
“We’d love to have Taylor Swift on as well,” Smith prodded.
“You and a lot of other people,” he said very diplomatically. “For sure.”
Well, it’s not a no!
While Swift has yet to make her on-camera debut, fans do think one of her cats accidentally made its New Heights debut. They’re also pretty sure they’ve caught the tight end getting distracted by her while filming, and Travis is suspected to have filmed in Swift’s home on more than one occasion.
