Jo Frost, best known to the world as Supernanny, is bringing her expertise back into the spotlight with a new observation about the future King of England, Prince George.
The 11-year-old joined his parents this past week as they attended a tea party marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day. In several photos, George was seen accompanying Prince William as he engaged with a World War II veteran at Buckingham Palace. Frost shared one such photo on Instagram, offering her candid opinion about the young royal’s behavior and the Prince and Princess of Wales’ parenting, drawing attention to the fact that “it’s not just what we say but what we do as parents that will have an everlasting impact on our children.”
The photos in question found George sitting attentively, leaning in next to his father as the duo listened to someone else speaking—presumably one of the veterans seated at their table.
“This photo representing our future king William, mindfully being observed in detail as his 1st born young heir to the throne listens and learns holding space & empathy with those who have survived the incredible rich stories to share, told by a generation that will not longer be here but always remembered by the time prince George is king,” Frost wrote alongside the snapshot she posted.
“Here we get to witness two parents with royal duty that have been an incredible example to their young children,” she detailed, noting how George and his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, “have experienced so much emotional vulnerability” already just by watching their parents.
“Like every parent I’m sure they have their days but you’ve got to admit they are doing a smashing job,” she added, calling them a “beautiful role model” to the parents “learning and watching too.”
It’s a rare compliment from the parenting expert, who was always called in on her popular television series to help parents struggling to raise their children for a variety of reasons.
