ABC today revealed more fun and games – and music – with the pickup of five unscripted series for its 2025-2026 season: America’s Funniest Home Videos, American Idol, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Shark Tank.
Today’s unscripted shows getting the green light are in addition to the previous picked up Bachelor in Paradise, Celebrity Family Feud, Dancing with the Stars, The Golden Bachelor, Match Game and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

America’s Funniest Home Videos will mark its 36th season, this will be Season 9 on ABC for American Idol (Season 24 overall), Season 4 for Celebrity Jeopardy!, Season 6 for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Season 17 for Shark Tank.
What wasn’t revealed was whether Carrie Underwood would be returning as a judge on American Idol along with Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Additionally, we don’t know if the sharks on Shark Tank will remain the same, or if there may be a new face or two.

As for its scripted line-up for Fall 2025-2026, ABC has already given pick-ups to returning series 9-1-1 (Season 9), Abbott Elementary (Season 5), High Potential (Season 2), Grey’s Anatomy (Season 22), The Rookie (Season 8), Shifting Gears (Season 2), and Will Trent (Season 4), and will be adding the new 9-1-1 spinoff series, 9-1-1: Nashville.
The one scripted show awaiting news of its fate is Doctor Odyssey. The Conners has been canceled, ending its run in April 2025.
