Katie Holmes Looks Unrecognizable With Her Shortest Hairstyle in Over a Decade

Katie Holmes has transformed for her latest role—and when I say transformed, I mean transformed. In the second season of Peacock’s Poker Face, Holmes is trying out a seriously bold new look: a voluminous curly bob with textured micro bangs. It’s the first bob Holmes has worn in over a decade. Her character also rocks some very fun makeup with pink eyeliner dotted in the corners of her eyes. With the loud floral print shirt, it’s safe to say that this character is a far cry from Holmes’ signature simplistic cool girl style.

In the show, Holmes plays Greta, a woman who runs a funeral home alongside her husband, Fred (Giancarlo Esposito). She is thrilled when the funeral home is scouted as a filming location for a ’70s murder mystery flick. It just so happens, Charlie (Natasha Lyonne) is involved in the production. Unfortunately for Greta and Fred, some very real murders soon begin to occur.

“This was such a joy to be a part of! Hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it,” Holmes wrote on Instagram of the project alongside a clip from the show.

Holmes recently appeared at the “Peacock x Vanity Fair Game Night” at Le Chalet in New York City where she was pictured hugging her co-star Lyonne.

Although Holmes’ Poker Face hair is almost certainly a wig, she did debut a more subtle hair change at the party. Along with her blue-and-white floral suit, Holmes rocked what appeared to be some lighter blonde highlights in her hair, which she wore in long boho curls.
