“I thought her talent was just wild and out of this world,” Jonas, 24, said. “And I thought that she had this very light perfection that I wanted to muddy with my vocals and my songwriting sensibilities.”
Grace, 21, told Parade that the feeling is mutual.
“I would honestly say one of my favorite things about Franklin is the fact that he embodies everything that he’s doing. He gives it his all, but he also just [is] carefree [in giving] his all, in the best way,” she said. “And I love when he’s doing his older music that he was promoting for a while because it was so authentic to who he was at the time. He just gravitates and changes and stays himself at the same time, and it’s really, really awesome to watch. So I’m a huge fan.”
As for how the pair linked up in the first place, Grace detailed how they ended up working together on “IDK.”

“We met each other in Vegas and really wanted to work together, and so [we] got in a room with one of our buddies and wrote a song about the unknown of love,” she told Parade. “Love is hard, relationships are hard, and we thought [we] might as well try really hard to write a song about it.”
