Jesse Williams is accusing his ex-wife of interfering in their kids’ healthcare.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Grey’s Anatomy alum, 43, has accused his ex Aryn Drake-Lee, 43, of purposefully violating their custody agreement after an alleged altercation at their kids’ orthodontist.
Williams, who was awarded sole physical custody over their kids’ healthcare in March, claimed Drake-Lee threatened to sue the doctor and alleged she told the dentist she did not consent to their daughter’s treatment. The former couple share daughter Sadie, 11, and son Maceo, 9.
“On April 3, 2025, during our meeting with the children’s orthodontist when we were to discuss among other things the doctor’s game plan for treating Sadie’s impacted upper right canine tooth and the growing cyst around her tooth, Aryn aggressively told the doctor she does not consent to treatment and that she will SUE the doctor if he touches the children,” Williams alleged in the document, adding that the doctor asked them to leave.

The actor goes on to claim that his daughter has waited since August to have her dental and orthodontic issues treated since Drake-Lee has refused treatment.
After Drake-Lee allegedly yelled at the doctor, Williams said he apologized on her behalf and took his kids to the car.
“As I took the children to the car, they asked, ‘What is wrong with Mom? Did we get kicked out? Why does she keep doing this? Why won’t she let me get braces? Can we just go back without her?’ ” Williams claimed.
Williams is now asking for sole legal custody of their kids’ healthcare, saying he’s concerned that his daughter’s condition will worsen before the court’s next scheduled hearing on July 10, and adding that it’s unfair to keep his daughter from having her condition fixed.
He went on to accuse Drake-Lee of ruining their relationships with medical professionals and physically appearing during appointments that she was not invited to.
“Aryn has not only compromised our children’s health and specific treatment, her behavior destroys relationships with healthcare providers who are now terrified to treat our children over fear for her erratic and aggressive antics,” Williams alleged. “Aryn has demonstrated that if she is notified about treatment she will physically appear and sabotage the treatment, scarring and scaring the children in the process.”
Alongside asking for sole legal custody of their kids’ healthcare, Williams wants the court to allow him to only provide Aryn with notice of the kids’ healthcare after the exam or treatment is over and to prohibit her from contacting the providers or interfere in any manner.
