Jennifer Lopez never shies away from an opportunity to show off her hard-earned results from her efforts in the gym.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer took to Instagram on Monday, May 5, to show off her toned abs in sultry outfit photos posted to her feed.
Lopez posed in front of a mirror to show off her athleisure outfit. The pop star wore a light heather gray cropped sweatshirt with a pair of forest green high-waist Alo Yoga leggings ($118). The sweatshirt cut just below the singer’s bust, allowing her toned torso — and prominent abs — to be the star of the picture.
The 55-year-old completed the casual look with sporty white sneakers and a nod to her Bronx, N.Y., roots by adding a green New York Yankees hat worn over her highlighted brunette hair. The pop star accessorized with oversize aviator sunglasses and large silver hoop earrings.

“Push today so you glow tomorrow…” the musician captioned the post, adding a sparkle and flexing bicep emoji as a nod to her hard work in the gym.

Fans in the comments section couldn’t help but gush over how fit Lopez looked in the photos. “Looking incredible especially at 55 years old. My vampire girl,” one user wrote.
Another user added that Lopez is their “workout inspo for life,” while another fan added that the pop star’s “BODY IS BODYING!!!”

Lopez’s casual look was posted the day of the 2025 Met Gala. The star was notably absent from the annual fashion event this year despite attending in 2024 for “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” where the theme was “Garden of Time.”
Lopez served as one of the five co-chairs for the 2024 gala alongside Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Ahead of attending the 2024 Met Gala, Lopez teased her look during an appearance on Good Morning America. GMA‘s Lara Spencer asked Lopez at the time if she would “be able to walk in your look.” The This Is Me… Now artist responded, “Barely, ever. The Met Gala looks are not about comfort.”

For the 2024 Met Gala, Lopez attended in a stunning custom Schiaparelli haute couture naked gown designed by Daniel Roseberry. The ornate gown featured sheer elements, a sculptural neckline and an abundance of rhinestones and pearls that made it shimmer as it caught the light from camera flashes.

Lopez’s gown was made with over 2.5 million silver foil bugles and beads, and took over 800 hours of hand embroidery to create.
Lopez completed her 2024 Met Gala look with Tiffany & Co. jewels. The glittering pieces included a bracelet, earrings and a statement necklace adorned with one large diamond that was more than 20 carats.
