Aaron Rodgers next team odds: Where will four-time MVP play next season?

The Aaron Rodgers experiment in New York is officially over, as the Jets organization told the 41-year-old quarterback that it was moving in a different direction.

But where will A-Rod suit up next season?

According to the odds, there is a new frontrunner.

Let’s check out the latest lines for Aaron Rodgers’ next team as of Feb. 22 via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Aaron Rodgers Next Team Odds

Los Angeles Rams: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
Las Vegas Raiders: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Pittsburgh Steelers: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Indianapolis Colts: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Tennessee Titans: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Minnesota Vikings: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
San Francisco 49ers: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)

Rodgers spent his last two seasons in the NFL wearing a Jets uniform, although his time in New York failed to meet expectations.

In Year 1, Rodgers injured his Achilles tendon on the fourth snap of the team’s first game. The four-time MVP missed the entire 2023 season.

The 2024 season, though, was supposed to be Rodgers’ comeback campaign. And while the QB passed for 3,897 yards (eighth in the NFL) and threw for 28 touchdowns (tied for seventh), Gang Green finished the year 5-12, missing the playoffs as the third-place team in the AFC East.

So, where will the decorated quarterback — Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, four-time league MVP and 10-time Pro Bowler — play next season?

Well, one ball dropped on Saturday that could impact Rodgers’ future in a major way — the Rams, according to reports, gave quarterback Matthew Stafford and his agent permission to talk to other teams regarding a potential trade.

The Rams were at +700 to land Rodgers on Feb. 17, but have since catapulted up the oddsboard, as rumors continue to swirl around Stafford, their 37-year-old starting QB who is entering the final two years of his deal and seeking a new contract.

Los Angeles seems to be unwilling to sign Stafford to a robust, long-term extension, meaning a trade is potentially in the works, according to multiple reports.

L.A. was at +300 to land Rodgers on Feb. 19, tied with the Raiders and Steelers. Now, the Rams are the lone favorite at +250.

The Steelers had been atop the board since the odds opened, considering they are likely to move on from Russell Wilson.

As for Las Vegas, it has both Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell under contract for next season, but neither produced much success for the Raiders last season, as they finished 4-13.

Both Minshew and O’Connell won two games as starters, but three of those four wins were against non-playoff teams.

Vegas has not made the playoffs since the 2021-22 season and has not won a playoff game since 2002-03.
