Rihanna closed down the 2025 Met Gala, arriving fashionably late on May 5, but there was a good reason for it—she’s expecting her third child!
After sending the internet into a frenzy upon her arrival at The Carlyle Hotel with her baby bump visible in the two-piece outfit, she doubled-down on the pregnancy reveal with husband A$AP Rocky.
The songstress officially confirmed the news by putting her growing belly on display while walking the blue carpet at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and embracing the theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
Fans were sent into a frenzy over her “glowing” appearance, with one stating, “Radiant and regal,” as another added, “She own it again.”
“Rihanna slayed at the #MetGala! Her bold look was a total vibe—iconic, fierce, and unforgettable. She owns the red carpet every time,” someone else wrote, with another compliment reading, “rihanna aka the real star of the night has arrived.”
A$AP Rocky made an appearance at fashion’s biggest night earlier in a “chic” suit with a matching jacket, as he served as co-chair of the event alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who share sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, last attended the Met Gala in 2023, when the “Umbrella” songstress was pregnant with their second child and turned heads in a floral bridal look.
Known for her major pregnancy announcements, she previously revealed that she was expecting her second child during her iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show.
