The red carpet may be rolled up for the night, but the 2025 Met Gala festivities aren’t over with yet.
When it comes to the first Monday in May, the star-studded red carpet is just the beginning. After the parade of stars show off their looks, they then take part in a dinner, which lasts for a good portion of the evening and is followed by a string of after-parties throughout New York City, hosted by the evening’s co-chairs, notable designers, and more.
With this year’s Met Gala, the coinciding exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute is centered around the theme: “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the dress code for the Met Gala was “Tailored for You.” So, while the official gala may now be over, we’ll be curious to see how the stars might continue leaning into this theme at all the after-parties, especially the ones hosted by co-chairs like A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, and more.
