Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes is facing serious legal trouble after allegedly making threats of terrorism against his girlfriend’s mother.

The rapper, 32, is back in federal custody after making the threats, which violated the terms of his supervised release conditions, TMZ reported on May 4. He reportedly broke those conditions on three alleged occasions: when he reportedly failed two drug tests and for a third time following an arrest for threats he allegedly made earlier this year.

A warrant was issued for Finesse2tymes’ arrest in October 2024 after he allegedly showed a gun to a young child he was mentoring. The rapper allegedly said he would “up that fire” — or pull the gun – the outlet also reports. A woman who was present at the time (and who is believed to be the mother of his girlfriend, per Complex) insisted that the rapper would follow through on the alleged threat.

He has been on supervised release since 2022, after serving nearly four years of a five-year sentence for possessing a firearm. Us Weekly has reached out to Finesse2tymes for comment.

The rapper appeared to confirm the news of his recent legal issues via Instagram. “The lady went and put a charge on me, man. She went and put a misdemeanor on me, man. […] They charged me and Lil Ju. She got me and Lil Ju f–ked up,” he said via an Instagram Live video shared on Friday, May 2, Complex reported.

“I don’t care how much money I got, I don’t give 10, 20, $30,000 away,” he reportedly continued. “I don’t care what other n—s is doing, and I don’t care about what the trend is… buying Birkins and that.”

On the same day, Finesse2tymes also shared a photo of himself outside of what appeared to be the Bob Casey United States Courthouse along with the caption, “I’ll be back,” the outlet reported.

The rapper has also accused another rapper, FNG King, of allegedly cooperating with police to his own benefit. “King told them every what happened and everything that been going on at my house,” Complex noted.

“Damn that’s crazy my P.O. just called and said they violated my probation for [this shit] happen wit King…finna go turn myself in,” he also added to his Instagram Story on Friday. FNG King denied the allegations, per Complex.

“I ain’t making no more videos about you. That s*** is dead. We gonna leave this alone,” said King in his own video. “Don’t get in my comments talking about some wild child speaking on a grown man. Why is a grown man speaking on a child?”
