Penn Badgley is clearing up a big misconception about his son.

During his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, May 2, the You actor, 38, spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about everything from the latest season of the hit Netflix show to the impending arrival of his twins. He also clarified a huge rumor about his 4-year-old son.

“This is a very weird thing to say, but our littlest, who is 4, … his name is not James,” he shared. “The internet on Wikipedia for many years, his name was James, and we’d get it removed. It would go back.”

“His name is not James, and you know, like I feel weird saying that, but I just thought, ‘Well, you know what? I have a platform. Why not clear the air?’ Because there are even people who [are] close to the family, who hadn’t seen us maybe in a while, they sent us a card, and it says to all of us and James,” he continued. “His name, because he’s 4, will remain undisclosed for as long as we can manage.”

On Friday Feb. 28, the actor’s wife, Domino Kirke, announced that they are expecting twins.

“Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley 👶♥️👶🎢#handsoffthewheel #monoditwins,” Kirke wrote on Instagram.

She included the hashtag “monoditwins,” referencing monochorionic diamniotic twins who are “identical twins who share a placenta (monochorionic) but each have their own inner sac (diamniotic),” per the University of Michigan.

The announcement began with a photo of two photobooth images. The images showed a side view of Kirke’s growing baby bump as Badgley and their 4-year-old son kissed it. The expectant mother is also a parent to son Cassius, from a previous relationship.

Elsewhere in the interview with Fallon, Badgley admitted that he hasn’t yet wrapped his head around having twins.

“I mean, it’s thrilling. Obviously, it’s a nice dose of reality, like every time I see the sonogram, it just feels so good,” he told Fallon. “Also, as an only child, that’s touching to see them together. They’re in there like it’s a hot tub.”

“There’s a sonogram of them almost like facing each other, just kind of like this,” he continued, demonstrating how the twins looked at each other. “I cannot fathom what it would be like to have somebody with you in there. You know what I mean? And, I’m going to be parenting them? I’m going to have to raise them.”

The Gossip Girl alum also shared how his other children feel about the new additions.

“So, the 4-year-old we have, he’s stoked because he’s just like he really wants to be a big brother,” he said. “The 16-year-old, he’s excited for us, but he’s also, like ‘I’m gonna leave in two years.’”
