Matt Damon has dug in for his new role as Odysseus in the film The Odyssey. He’sbeen sporting a gray overgrown look, letting his hair and beard grow out to get into character.
Damon and the cast have been filming in Morocco, Italy, Greece, and the UK, for months. But even when he’s not on set, Damon has taken his dramatic new look out on the town.
On May 1, the Good Will Hunting star attended the premiere of Shadow Force in New York City alongside his wife, Luciana Damon. The couple, who has been married since 2005, posed for photos together on the red carpet.
Damon was dressed relatively casually in a black, long-sleeved shirt, a pair of black pants, and a pair of sneakers. Meanwhile, Luciana chose a pair of white slacks and a matching corset style crop top with a halter style strap.
The actor, 54, has been making headlines for several weeks now, especially as photos from set have surfaced. Back in March, fans got a sneak peek of Damon’s ripped body as he filmed a scene without a shirt on, according to photos published by E! News.
The highly anticipated film, which also stars Jon Bernthal, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Charlize Theron (to name a few) is set to be released in U.S. theaters on July 17, 2026.
