Fans loved him so much that they took to social media to declare that he’s “Such a great cohost,” and call him “a natural,” begging for him to take the permanent seat vacated by Hoda Kotb earlier this year.
Now, Yang’s podcast co-host Matt Rogers is stepping up to the plate for a week-long stint on the morning show.

The show’s official Instagram page shared the “incredible news” and fans were thrilled for the I Love That For You star, flying to the comments to give their unfiltered thoughts.
“All week turning to permanent? Yassss,” said one fan as another agreed, commenting, “Make this permanent! Matt would be perfect co-host.”
“This is going to be the BEST!” exclaimed a third, while another begged, “Pleaseeee be the permanent replacement king.”
“Now THIS is culture,” declared one commenter, prompting fans to chime in to call his appearance “my superbowl” and predicting that “this is gonna be GOOD.”
