Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are celebrating their wedding anniversary on May 1. The couple took to social media to share posts to mark their special day, and Ripa’s comment on her husband’s post is getting some attention.
“Happy 29th anniversary sexy,” Consuelos captioned a video montage of some of his favorite memories of his wife.
“Best decision of my life,” Ripa responded. “I love you.”
It didn’t take long for comments to come pouring in, with most fans saying they’ve loved watching this couple’s love story from the very beginning.
“Happy anniversary to the both of you you are our inspiration that marriage does work,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Don’t know you personally but have watched you guys build a life together since AMC. I would be devastated if anything ever happened to you. I’m rooting for you and can’t wait to see 50-60-70 more years of THIS,” someone else said.
“Wishing you both a wonderful and beautiful 29th Anniversary!!!! Been rooting for you two since you were Mateo and Hailey!!!! Never stop,” a third comment read.

After meeting and falling in love while working together on All My Children, Ripa and Consuelos jetted off to Las Vegas to get married.
“He popped the question the day before we got married, but that day, that very day that we got back together, we were at a taping of Regis and Kathie Lee,” Ripa said on a 2018 appearance on the Comments by Celebs podcast, according to Entertainment Tonight.
“It was their Mother’s Day special. They were pre-taping it, and one of the dreams of one of the mothers was to meet Mark and me. We were her favorite characters on All My Children. She wanted to meet us, and I think we drove out a new car or pushed out a new pool table or something. She got a present from her kids and we brought it out to her. It all is so connected,” she added.
Ripa and Consuelos now co-host Live! With Kelly and Mark and share three grown children, Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 22.
