Prince Harry will reportedly miss his son Prince Archie‘s 6th birthday—and it wouldn’t be the first time he was apart from the young royal on his big day.
On May 6, Harry and Meghan Markle‘s older child will turn 6. But on that same day the Duke of Sussex is scheduled to travel to Las Vegas to meet with youth leaders for the Diana Award, The Independent reported.

Prince Harry will reportedly travel to Sin City for the Pledge To Invest initiative for the award honoring his late mother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997 after a car crash in Paris. There, he will reportedly meet with two young people who are recipients of The Legacy Award honoring Princess Diana.
“Companies that invest in youth leadership today are cultivating the workforce, innovators and consumers of tomorrow,” said Tessy Ojo, chief executive of The Diana Award, in a statement.
“The Diana Award is proud to launch Pledge To Invest—an opportunity for forward-thinking businesses to make a strategic, measurable and high-impact investment in the future of youth leadership.”

In 2023, Prince Harry was also apart from Archie on his birthday to attend the coronation of his father, King Charles III.
Of course, just because Prince Harry and Archie can’t spend May 6 together doesn’t mean the father and son can’t celebrate on another day. Hopefully, they, Markle and Archie’s younger sister, Princess Lilibet, 3, have something amazing planned with just their family of four!
