Taylor Swift fans did a double-take when her old pal, Ed Sheeran posted a series of throwback photos, as the pop superstars looked nearly unrecognizable in the never-before-seen snaps.
On April 29, Sheeran, 34, took to Instagram with a post filled with old photos, many of which featured the “Shake It Off” singer, 35.

The pictures were from 2015, he explained, and he shared them to promote his new song “Old Phone.” However, one snap in particular caught the immediate attention of Swifties.
For the shot, Sheeran and Swift posed for a selfie while making funny faces in a vehicle. The singers not only looked much younger in the photo from a decade prior, but Swift’s minimal makeup look was also a departure from her typically done-up look. Swift hadn’t yet adopted her signature red lip, either.

In the comments of a repost of the snap, Swift fans couldn’t get over her and Sheeran’s youthful appearances.
One Instagram user wrote, “It’s crazy how much time has passed! Being in that era I felt like you guys were so grown up and looked up immensely to you both (as I still do now) but you guys were just babies 🥹.”
Someone else echoed, “Taylor looks like a BABY i cant 😢❤️.”
“SHEEES SO LITTTLEEEE❤️❤️❤️,” a different fan echoed, as another agreed, writing, “They were just babies 😭.”
“Everything has changed ❤️,” one Instagram user pointed out, referencing the 2012 song of the same name that Sheeran and Swift collaborated on.
“They were literally 0 years old,” another fan pointed out.
Meanwhile, yet another simply declared, “The music industry.”
