An ageless beauty and talent!

Tia Carrere turned heads on the red carpet while attending the 2025 Scientific and Technical Awards at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday, April 29.

The actress, 58, wore a curve-hugging purple gown paired with a silver clutch and bejeweled tiara.

Carrere attended the event, hosted by actor Diego Luna, with computer graphics researcher and visual effects innovator Paul Debevec.

Though Carrere is often recognized for her role as Cassandra Wong in Wayne’s World and Wayne’s World 2, she has a long list of successes — and accolades to match.

The Honolulu, Hawaii, native is a two-time Grammy Award winner for her 2009 album “Ikena” and her 2011 album, “Huana Ke Aloha.”

In addition to the Wayne’s World franchise, Carrere had roles in True Lies, Rising Sun, Kull the Conqueror, Relic Hunter, Hawaii Five-0, and more.

Carrere is also the voice of Nani in Disney’s beloved animated film Lilo & Stitch.

A live-action version of Lilo & Stitch is set to hit theaters on Friday, May 23, and Carrere will be back! This time, playing the role of a social worker named Mrs. Kekoa.

“Lilo & Stitch holds a special place in my heart. I was involved in a very unusual way, because I got to speak with [writers and directors] Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois as they were creating the characters and the background,” Carrere said in a March interview with First for Women.

“Because I was born and raised in Hawaii, they asked me about how I would say things and what the culture of Hawaii was like. I told them that if you go to Hawaii, you know that there’s a certain patois and a pidgin English that’s sing-songy,” she continued.

“If you’re from there, you know what it sounds like, and if somebody’s trying to approximate it and they’re not from there, it’s difficult to infuse it into their speech,” Carrere added. “It was great to get to share that and do all these little things to put my mark on the character.”
