He will be replaced by Miguel Castro Freitas, whose CV includes positions at Dior, Sportmax, and Dries Van Noten.
Under Cadwallader, the label saw great success dressing some of the most iconic stars of the moment, including Beyoncé, Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Blackpink’s Lisa. Cadwallader’s Mugler shows were often over-the-top spectacles built to showcase his sci-fi-ish bodycon designs, which he crafted with textural materials like leather and lace in palettes of black, metallic, and Technicolor hues.
