Last night, Hailey Bieber proved she’s still one of Anthony Vaccarello’s biggest champions when she repped one of his Saint Laurent creations at the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards gala.
It was a fitting choice, given that Bieber was there to present the designer with the Honorary Award, a prize celebrating his work at the French fashion house and his impact on the industry as a whole.
Taking the stage, the Rhode founder wore a merlot halter dress that featured ruched pieces of criss-crossing fabric to form the bodice. The stretched swathes fit snuggly around Bieber’s body like gauze, and they gave the look a somewhat beachy (or dare I say, mummy) effect. Meanwhile, these pieces left some small, diamond-shaped cutouts on the sides and continued down Bieber’s hips for a drop-waist effect.
Down low, the material transformed into a smooth circle skirt that trailed behind Bieber. To match her gown, the model rocked a set of purple nails. She eschewed a flashy necklace, a choice that really let the design shine on its own.
Bieber has proven herself to be a devoted fan of Saint Laurent over the years. When she renewed her vows with husband Justin Bieber and announced that she was pregnant with her son, Jack Blues Bieber, last May, she did so while sporting a bridal lacy gown from the house. Meanwhile, her street style is often elevated by Saint Laurent statement pieces, be it with a leopard-print bag or a leather trench.
“Anthony Vaccarello, your journey is a testament to the transformative power of fashion and we are so proud to celebrate you tonight,” Bieber said during her speech. Clearly, she meant it.
