Blake Lively was bejeweled promoting Another Simple Favor.
As she continues the press tour for the sequel to A Simple Favor, the actor has been putting her inimitable sense of style front and center. She wore a black knit Chanel jacket to a photo call in London, then a Matrix-inspired long leather jacket to a London screening.
While all her looks have been great, Lively needed a little sparkle. And that’s exactly what she gave us when she was spotted in London wearing a crystal-covered all-denim look, courtesy of Stella McCartney. The set consisted of high-waisted jeans and an oversized denim button-up draped over her shoulders, the latter of which she layered over a gray tank top. The crystal-embellished double denim made Lively sparkle as she left her car. She accessorized with sparkling pearl drop earrings and blue rhinestone-embellished heels from Gucci.
Lively seemed to take a style cue from the queen of sparkly outfits, who also just so happens to be one of her best friends: Taylor Swift. We relished seeing Swift in all sorts of bejeweled looks on her historic Eras Tour. She similarly wore a sparkling denim ensemble while cheering for her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, at this year’s Super Bowl.
Both women know how to make the most out of a crystal-covered look. Although we haven’t seen the pair together recently, it’s clear that their friendship transcends distance, time, and fashion trends.
