It’s always fun to wear an ultra-mini look, but Hailey Bieber reminds us that it takes a little preparation and finesse.
The Rhode founder has a penchant for wearing micro shorts and jackets as minidresses. But even she knows that the best accessory with a mini look is, of course, some biker shorts, to be safe.
During date night with Justin Bieber the other night in West Hollywood, she went the mini route again, this time wearing a dark-brown coat from Magda Butrym. The outerwear included a bubble hemline and a belt, which she tied into a bow around her waist. Peeking underneath the jacket was a pair of nearly imperceptible black biker shorts. She finished the ensemble off with a black tote from the Row, an anklet, pointed-toe kitten heels, and black sunglasses.
The Biebers have had a very busy weekend. Hailey brought her cool-girl style to Coachella, where she wore a blazing-red vintage Mulger top and a backless little black dress. This week’s biker shorts look is reminiscent of another recent Los Angeles outing with her hubby, where she wore her “favorite” bomber jacket with micro shorts.
Hailey previously opened up about her approach to getting dressed in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar. “I get photographed so much that I feel like I put pressure on myself,” she said. “Even if I’m just throwing on jeans and a T-shirt, I want it to be a dope pair of jeans and a great T-shirt.”
