Last night, Blackpink’s Lisa took to the stage solo at Coachella for the second weekend in a row to perform hits off her new album, Alter Ego. The star lit up the Sahara Tent with an exuberant performance while perfectly outfitted in custom looks by designer Asher Levine, known for his work with musical artists like Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, and Nicki Minaj.
Lisa’s opening look, a skintight bodysuit with sculpted reptilian shoulder spikes, was meant to conjure the star’s “villain alter ego,” per a press release about her costumes for the show. She wore her hair swept halfway up with decorative braids and a sultry makeup look featuring a smokey eye and a dark pink lip. The suit came in both red and silver, the latter of which she debuted during weekend one.
During a spectacular set, Lisa covered her red suit with a massive puffer jacket made of textured glistening material. The star stood up on a platform high above the stage with a giant faux-chain wrapped around her waist.
Later on, Lisa debuted an iridescent white two-piece look. The top was formed into organic sculptures reminiscent of insect antennae and butterfly wings. The short bottoms were similarly constructed, and she wore both pieces over fishnet stockings and a translucent body suit with shimmering details. The outfit contained white LED panels along the front that flashed throughout the performance.
In a less dramatic, but no less glittering look, Lisa wore a silver miniskirt and bustier top over a white T-shirt. She sported matching silver leg warmers over her white boots.
Another colorful two-piece featured chains, rainbow adornments, and beaded necklaces on both the top and bottom.
