Sebastian Stan certainly turned heads during the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Calif. yesterday, April 28, 2025, when he debuted a brand new style that left him hardly recognizable at first glance.
The Bucky Barnes actor, typically seen with long, luxurious locks of hair, stepped out on the red carpet with a buzz cut and a touch of salt and pepper in his goatee, and fans were absolutely shocked by the dramatic hair transformation from the 42-year-old.
In a snap from the event, Stan wrote a dark pinstriped suit over a powder blue button-up and sent a smoldering look at the camera as he posed for pictures.
“nothing in my life prepared me for the day i would see sebastian stan BALD,” one fan wrote on X alongside a pair of photos of the Marvel star’s new ‘do.
“We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of sebastian stan’s hair,” someone else wrote alongside a mocked-up graphic of a gravestone with photos of his former hairstyles. “RIP SEB’S HAIR AND WELCOME BALD SEB.”
“never ask a sebastian stan fan what happened on april 27, 2025,” someone else joked, referencing the day he presumably made the big cut—a day that will go down in history, and, perhaps, infamy.
