Conan O’Brien Expresses Support for Andy Richter
Conan O’Brien commended Andy Richter for his impressive journey on the current season of Dancing With The Stars, describing Richter as a “phenomenon” and saying he feels like a “proud dad” and “proud mom.”
In a conversation with NESN, O’Brien shared, “Every time he gets by a new hurdle, I’m just delighted for him. He’s America’s sweetheart!”
O’Brien revealed he frequently texts Richter with encouragement and, if his work schedule permits, would be happy to watch him perform in person.
Andy Richter’s Upcoming Performance and Special Episode
Andy Richter and professional partner Emma Slater are scheduled to perform a Quickstep routine to “Puttin’ on the Ritz” by Robbie Williams on the Tuesday, November 11 episode of Dancing With The Stars.
- The pair will also take part in a relay round alongside Season 29 Mirrorball Champion Kaitlyn Bristowe.
- Themed as a “20th Birthday Party,” this episode will celebrate the show’s milestone anniversary with guest appearances from former professional dancers and celebrities.

Asked if he would ever join the show as a contestant himself, O’Brien joked, “I’d need several surgeries… and some of them cosmetic. Actually, all of them cosmetic. I’m an incredible athlete.”
