A man was arrested after he yelled bomb threats at security officers outside a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility on Monday evening, according to authorities.

Bratton Dean Wilkinson, 36, arrived at the entrance of the Dallas ICE Field office at 6:37 p.m. and told security officers he had a bomb in his backpack, the Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday in a news release.

Wilkinson then showed officers a device on his wrist that he claimed was a “detonator,” the DHS said.

A shelter-in-place order was promptly issued at the facility, and local police and bomb squad members responded, officials said.

The scene was cleared roughly 30 minutes later, the statement detailed.

Wilkinson, a US citizen, was then taken into custody by local cops and now faces charges of making terroristic threats, the office said.

Photos show a bearded Wilkinson in a white button-up, skinny jeans, and a vest being cuffed by officers.

ICE officers and agents have become the target of threats and attacks over the past few months.

The jarring incident in Texas comes just weeks after five envelopes containing a suspicious white powder were discovered at New York’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Manhattan.

The substance was later found to be boric acid, law-enforcement sources said.

A mob of rioters also ambushed Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in San Francisco, with one agitator threatening to “stab” one of the feds and “go after” his family, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday.

“These incidents come after months of smears and rhetoric by activists, politicians, and the media comparing ICE law enforcement to the Nazi Gestapo, kidnappers, and the Secret Police,” a Senior DHS official said in a statement.

“This shameful rhetoric has fueled a culture of hate against law enforcement resulting in a 1,000 percent increase in assaults against them. All sanctuary politicians, activists, and the media need to turn down their temperature,” the official said.
