Actress Viola Davis has much to celebrate. The stunning star of How to Get Away with Murder is letting fans in on “the best kept secret” as she celebrates her 60th birthday with a Cabo San Lucas party alongside her husband, producer and actor Julius Tennon, and her close-knit circle of friends.

The EGOT winner, who won an Academy Award in 2016 for her supporting role in the film adaptation of Fences, shared a steamy social media post in honor of her birthday—in which she also debuted a stunning hair transformation.
“Best-kept secret? 60 is fabulous! I couldn’t feel any more blessed or loved.
Sixty years of love, lessons, and living with my whole heart. I’m so grateful for every single birthday wish, for the incredible people I get to share this life with, and for the unforgettable moments created at @suncabovacations.
Here’s to the next chapter—deeper, freer, louder. 🥂❤️,” the Juilliard graduate captioned her post, which included a series of photos from her Cabo celebration.
With Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” playing in the background, Davis and Tennon can be seen snuggling in a swimming pool. Additional snaps from the birthday festivities also reveal Davis’ cropped, red hairstyle.
The actress looks joyous, youthful, and completely comfortable in her skin (and new hair), with one fan after another praising her “queen” energy.

“60 never looked or felt so good,” commented actress Halle Berry, who recently turned 59. Hanging With Mr. Cooper star and social media favorite Holly Robinson Peete added, “The serotonin that just shot through me.”
