Fans immediately took to the comments section of the post, wishing the actor well and hoping that everything is okay with his health
“Hope all is ok,” one person wrote.
“Please be okay,” someone else said.
“Umm, are you okay? Hoping you are! Best wishes for whatever you’re being tested for,” a third comment read.
“Hope you have a negative result,” a fourth Instagram user added.
Parade has reached out to Martin’s rep for comment.
Back in June, Martin sat down for an interview on The Tonight Show. During his chat with host Jimmy Kimmel, Martin talked about his milestone birthday.
“I’m turning 80 this year,” Martin said, getting loud cheers from the audience. “But 80 is fine. The hard year for me was when I turned 77 because I’m a little dyslexic,” he joked.
When Kimmel asked Martin how he felt about getting older, Martin said he feels “very comfortable with it.”
“First of all is to be honest with yourself, know what’s happening and I’ve decided to embrace it. For example, I know that, one day, my hair will turn gray. And, when it does, I’m going to go with it,” he said, as he sat on Kimmel’s couch with a full head of white hair that he’s sported for years.
