A groom is winning over the internet after accurately guessing what his bride’s wedding dress looks like
Actress and author Shannon Lee Barry shared a clip of her husband to TikTok, where he makes predictions about her wedding-day attire and seemed to know what he was talking about
“My man is verbose,” she captioned the footage
A groom is going viral for just how well he knows his bride — and specifically, just how well he knows her fashion sense!
In a TikTok recently reposted by Brides, actress and author Shannon Lee Barry’s now-husband Dom Fera was asked on their May wedding day to guess what Barry’s dress would look like. It’s safe to say he knew what he was talking about.
The clip, which now has over a million views and was initially shared to Barry’s TikTok account, features Fera standing in front of a camera ahead of the ceremony as he was asked by a third party to guess what her dress looked like.

“I would’ve thought that it looked like her rehearsal dinner dress that I saw last night,” he said. “I think it’s got the big princessy poof, I think maybe princessy poof, I think. And context clues have maybe revealed that there’s long sleeves. I might have that wrong.”
Fera also said that he didn’t think Barry would stick with just a white gown for the occasion, but rather something with a pop of color.
“On the one last night, there was specks of little flowers and stuff,” he said of a previous dress. “I think there will be something like that. I would say my big swing is that there’s colors.”

The TikTok clip then cut to an image of Barry’s actual gown, which, interestingly enough, featured “poofy” short sleeves, floral embellishments on the body of the dress and plenty of bright colors beyond just the standard white.
“My man is verbose,” Barry captioned the clip, alongside the in-video caption, “to be loved is to be known.”

The bride wore her flowery dress, made by designer Dany Tabet, during their wedding in May. She also documented her dress journey on TikTok, revealing that she first spotted the gown in a TikTok and “chased it down” to a boutique three hours away from her home, having known immediately it was for her after seeing it in person.
As for the “poofy” light blue sleeves that she paired with the gown, Barry found those on Etsy and thought they would be a good fit with the dress’ “whimsical” vibe. During the ceremony itself, she swapped them out with a pair of longer sleeves, too.
“I ended up doing a first look with my husband and having our family members come early to take portraits all ahead of the ceremony, so I decided I would wear the fluffy blue sleeves while I was doing all the pictures. Because I thought closer-up photos, they would look cute.”
“I love these sleeves, I’m so happy I wore them. I love the way they turned out.”
The couple also notably went viral for Fera’s enthusiastic aisle walk, which earned over a million likes on TikTok back in May.
