Boyband legend Lance Bass was spotted looking nearly unrecognizable at a recent event in Los Angeles, and we truly almost didn’t realize it was him!
The former NSYNC member, 46, attended DSW’s Annual National Shoe Donation Day in Venice on August 13 rocking his new hair and beard. His locks — which have long since been styled in a spiky fashion — were styled in a more relaxed and casual fashion with significant lowlights added to his signature blonde look. He also rocked some serious facial hair, overall appearing quite different to how a lot of fans know him.
As far as Bass’ style was concerned, he donned a white short sleeved sweater with black stitch hemming and a pair of light jeans, as well as some necklaces, a pair of thick black sunglasses, and black and white sneakers.
The singer posed for photos at the event alongside Nia Sanchez, one of the stars of Bravo’s new hit show The Valley. The pair hosted the event together, and Sanchez, 35, also posed for photos alongside her husband Daniel Booko, who is also one of the stars of The Valley.
Bass has a long-standing history with Bravo as a network. He’s appeared on the Real Housewives franchise several times over the years, particularly in connection with Lisa Vanderpump, former star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Their friendship was a fun and exciting slice of Vanderpump’s high life for the audience, and also tended to be something of an added benefit to the people around her.
Case and point, Bass famously officiated the wedding of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, two former stars of Vanderpump Rules, the RHOBH spinoff series that focuses on Vanderpump’s West Hollywood bar SUR. That milestone moment was made possible through Vanderpump’s close friendship with Bass and made for reality TV history when the pair were wed by the NSYNC alum in August 2016.
That said, it’s cute to see Bass making friends with the new generation of Bravo stars, especially those newbies still connected to Vanderpump — even if only slightly.
