In a collaborative Instagram post on Tuesday, July 22, the two lovebirds broke the baby news, sharing a video holding pictures of the ultrasound with the caption, “We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small ♥️.”
Needless to say, the Dancing With the Stars cast and crew had quite the reaction, with DWTS pro Britt Stewart commenting, “Truly no words can match this blessing!!!! Auntie Britt is ready! Now that the news has settled, Hough recently opened up about his soon-to-be fatherhood journey on an episode of Good Morning America, sharing how he plans to raise his first child.

“I’m gonna be a dad,” Hough exclaimed to kick off the conversation, assuring GMA host Michael Strahan — who doubles as a father of four — that he will be “calling [him] about some advice” throughout his first-time parenting journey.
“It’s something I’ve been dreaming of for so long. I can’t wait. I’m excited,” he continued. “With dancing — again, this another generation of dancers — we’re thinking about it. Haley and I met dancing, and so we’ll see.”
When it comes to dancing, Hough plans to “start the baby young” with “some leg movements,” and given how talented his or her parents are, baby Erbert-Hough is sure to be a DWTS pro in no time!
