The Young and the Restless star Melissa Claire Egan reunited with the casting director that changed her life and set her daytime television career in motion and shared the moment on social media.
Egan posted a photo of herself and former All My Children and The Young and the Restless casting director Judy Blye Wilson on her Instagram. The actress captioned the post, “I owe this woman everything! She cast me in both All My Children AND The Young & the Restless. I love you, @judyblyewilson you changed my life. Such a great few days in my happy place and old stomping grounds. Great shows, the best of friends, lots of laughs and many memories. My heart is full and soul is recharged🥰Now back to my babies.”

Egan joined All My Children in 2006 as the love to hate character Annie Novak, a role she would continue to play until the shows cancellation in 2011. Following the ABC series ending, Egan joined the hit CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless as Chelsea Lawson.
The actress is currently nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on The Young and the Restless.
In addition to her daytime roles, Egan has also appeared on series such as Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill, Criminal Minds, Bones and Men at Work.
