‘RHOA’ Fans Protest Against Kenya Moore’s Indefinite Suspension

Moore’s shocking exit from the reality TV series made waves last year long before the program’s season 16 aired. She got the boot following her behavior during the grand opening party for her new store, Kenya Moore Hair Spa.

It is uncertain if Kenya Moore and Bravo can rekindle their broken bond; however, fans aren’t letting the entertainer’s dismissal slide. Many aired their disappointment at the network on social media, citing other controversial cast mates that escaped punishment.

The love and support for Moore flooded the comment section of a “RHOA” fan account on Instagram. The user reposted Bravo’s message from the controversial episode “About Last Night,” where Moore incurred the network’s anger by showcasing explicit pictures of her co-star Brit Eady.

“Based on Kenya’s behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season,” Bravo declared. The network’s decision to cut ties with Moore meant her presence on the show’s season 16 was over. The update upset several fans as it was unclear if the star would return for the next season.

Many slammed the network for being biased, stressing that Eady started the beef with Moore. “Production is totally wrong for not removing Bri the moment she threatened Kenya with a firearm,” someone declared, adding:

“Kenya’s feelings were not taken into consideration when production knew what happened. Production should have stepped in right away.”

The love for Moore continued, with some declaring there was no “RHOA” without Moore. “I’m not watching without Kenya,” a fan stressed. Another echoed similar sentiments, noting they would pick up the show if Moore returned in season 17.

An IG user pushed to boycott Bravo, imploring others to stop watching the network’s programs “until they do right.” A fellow supporter slammed producers for mistreating Moore while someone pointed out that Eady was equally guilty, writing:

“They are supposed to fire both. [Eady’s] threat with a gun and what Kenya did is both bad [sic].”

The cries against Eady didn’t stop with a fan slamming Bravo with the comment: “However, you support gun violence??? Brit should have been cut immediately.. Now we are stuck with that voice all season…..” Another agreed, writing:

“I still feel Kenya shouldn’t be let go. I was shocked I was team Kenya. And we didn’t even get a preview of next week after this.”

Fans vehemently called out Bravo, ordering them to treat the other controversial cast mates like Moore. “What about Brit threats with a firearm? Production being totally unfair the moment she comes talking about a firearm, Brit should ask to leave,” an IG user declared.

“This was so unfair. If that is the case, then Whorsha and Fakedra should never return. I am done with LHHATL/ RHOATL,” a fellow critic added. The cries for justice continued with someone implying “RHOA” would not survive without Moore. In their words:

“Oh wow, y’all think Porsha and Phaedra gonna save RHOA? Not gonna happen.”

Before the controversial episode aired, Moore received support from her close pal, Kandi Burruss. The Blast covered the story, reporting the “RHOA” alum bashed Bravo in February during an Amazon Live Event for axing Moore from the show’s season 16 promotional posts.

Burruss slammed Bravo for not giving Moore an official cast portrait. She argued that leaving her pal out of the promotional materials took things to another level, given the latter’s influence in creating explosive content.

Burruss stressed that the beef between Moore and Eady shouldn’t have influenced her pal’s removal from the season’s promotional content, saying, “I’m like, y’all couldn’t even let her picture be a part of the show? The other friends of the show had pictures.”

The TV personality added that Bravo’s treatment of Moore was unfair, noting Cynthia Bailey, who appeared in season 16 as a “friend of the show,” got an individual photo.

Additionally, cast mate Phaedra Parks got a cast photo and appeared in the trailer despite returning for the first time since her 2017 departure.

Last November, The Blast revealed Moore had changed her tune about what occurred at her store opening party. She initially denied the allegations in an Instagram post, claiming her conscience was clear. Part of her message read:

“So many false claims hiding behind anonymous sources. All this conversation and no facts being reported. If a claim or source was valid, would they need to hide?“

She walked back her statement during a candid interview, alleging Bravo hadn’t fired her before confirming her actions against Eady. “If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation,” Moore confessed.
